The Peach Pit Stop
A zesty, fruit-forward espresso spritz with a bold coffee finish, crafted for the ones who like their drinks layered, both in flavour and in life.
✦ Ingredients:
- Ice (as preferred)
- 60 ml cranberry cocktail mixer
- 100 ml chilled tonic water
- 2–3 fresh peach slices
- A pinch of fresh orange zest
- 1 slice of pitted orange
- Orange peel, for garnish
- 1 Honey Sun-Dried Americano pod (Noir)
✦ Method:
1. Build the base
Begin by filling a tall glass with ice- the more, the better for that crisp, refreshing chill. Pour in the cranberry cocktail mixer and top it off with the chilled tonic water. This forms your bright, fizzy foundation.
2. Add the citrus lift
Drop in the peach cubes for a soft, juicy twist and layer with a pinch of orange zest to bring in subtle bitterness. Add one slice of pitted orange to round out the citrus profile with a bold, juicy bite.
3. Brew your espresso shot
Now, for the highlight- pull a double shot of Noir’s Honey Sun-Dried Americano pod using your Noir Azure machine. The rich, honeyed espresso with sun-dried complexity is what ties this drink together.
4. Layer with intention
Slowly pour the espresso over the back of a spoon, letting it float atop the fizz to create a stunning visual gradient dark, bold espresso resting above the blushing cranberry base.
5. Garnish and serve
Finish with a twist of orange peel, express the oils for extra aroma and serve immediately. Stir before sipping if you prefer balance. Or sip as-is to taste each flavour unfold, layer by layer.
